Congratulations Cornwall!
Thanks to you, our Town candidates were victorious. We wish Josh, Scott, and the rest of the Council the best as they lead Cornwall to keep it thriving and make it a welcoming place to live, work, and play for a generation. Thanks to them all for stepping up to serve the public. (See all Orange County results.)
Your constant support, your lawn signs, your friendly faces at doors across the community, and most of all your belief in the value of sensible, balanced, and competent public service carried the day. Despite a months-long torrent of dishonest negative campaigning, Cornwall’s voters united across parties and unaffiliated voters to sustain the work that’s moving our Town forward. Thank you!
And, thanks to you and voters across the country, America can finally celebrate the true Spirit of ʼ26—the first step on a long road to restoring our democratic republic and strengthening a more free and just union. Our work together is not done, of course. Regardless of party, politicians must be held to account. We’ve given Democratic leaders the authority to restore the rule of law and to correct the mistakes of the past. Now they must use it.
The flag that Democrats never stopped flying.
The last trickle of absentee ballots that are postmarked by Election Day and received by Tuesday November 10 at the Board of Elections remain to be counted; the County will certify the result thereafter.
There is much more to come in 2027! If you’re not already on our mailing list, sign up here for occasional service opportunities, events, voter information, and other notices!
