May Day 2025 we are standing united. We're organizing for a world where every family has housing, healthcare, fair wages, union protection, and safety—regardless of race, zip code, or immigration status.
Calling Farmers, Veterans, Healthcare Workers, Union Members, Educators, Federal Workers, Local Leadership and Representatives—come voice and hear the concerns of your community amid employment terminations and budget cuts.
The intent of this Speak Out is to allow and encourage residents of our Orange County NY community, to give voice to and address concerns they may have about the present day disruptions to our lives which we are experiencing in the current political environment.
These concerns include our economy, education, healthcare, emergency services, our safety, our security. These issues impact our Federal Workers, our Veterans, our Educators, our Agricultural Neighbors, to name a few of the groups who have been impacted by employment terminations , grant withdrawals and/or budget cuts.
We are protesting the unconstitutional management of the executive branch. The concentration of power in the executive branch is a rupture in the balance of power. The Trump administration is not respecting the authority of the judicial branch and Congress is sitting on their hands. Please park in Price Chopper parking lot and meet in front of Dunkin Donuts. Always stay on the sidewalks. It’s a busy intersection.
Join together to speak out against the anti democratic and anti american cuts to our people!

This bill threatens to disenfranchise millions of U.S. citizens: 146 million Americans do not have a passport, and 69 million women who have married do not have a birth certificate that matches their new legal name.
On April 5, millions of Americans took to the streets—in big cities and small towns—to remind Donald Trump and Elon Musk that our democracy doesn’t belong to billionaires—it belongs to the people.
This wasn’t just a one-off event. It was the start of something bigger.
Join Hands Off! this Wednesday (4/16) at 8 PM EST/5 PM PST for a nationwide call to find out how we can build on the resounding success on April 5th and keep the pressure on Trump, Musk, and their enablers in Congress.

It's time to send a clear message: Social Security belongs to the American people who EARNED these benefits through decades of work. This essential program is not up for grabs by wealthy interests who've never had to worry about retirement security or disability support.

“Recess weeks (officially called a District Work Period for the House of Representatives and a State Work Period for the Senate) are periods throughout the year where Members of Congress (MoCs) return home to meet with their constituents. They’re supposed to be periods for public events, but increasingly, MoCs are going out of their way to avoid the public spotlight.“
5Calls is organizing to stop passage of the Republican continuing spending resolution that seeks to defund the government. To come to the floor it needs Democratic votes—you can use 5Calls to tell your senators to vote NO on bringing it to the floor. If the government shuts down it will be because Republicans threatened to stop funding critical programs.
Senate Republicans are playing chicken with their Democratic colleagues by teeing up a Friday vote for the House passed CR. Democrats should vote NO on cloture for this legislation and demand the GOP negotiate for a clean CR.
